Pitcher & Piano Nottingham

This former church was converted into a Pitcher & Piano bar in 2005 and to create a link between the new modern interiors and the church itself I decided to interpret this into 2 layers. The first being the downlights, a modern technique to light and connect to the interior space below, and the second being a softer, diffuse layer lighting up to the heavens. The 2 pendants are in full view of all the customers wherever they are in the space.
